Full fair works to a 72 metre new build motor yacht. The full fair project included anticorrosion, priming, fairing and painting using AWLGRIP products. The most challenging aspect of this project was the two tone hull; dark grey above the waterline and metallic grey on the superior half of the hull.
Kogo was the first superyacht to be constructed by the commercial tonnage yard of Alstom Marine at Lorient, It was also the first 50 metre plus yacht to be constructed in France for many years. The fairing was undertaken at Lorient by one of Acamarine’s mobile paint crews. Following its completion it underwent a final coat finish after sea trials in Marseille before being delivered to its owner.
KOGO won the Boat International 2007 World Superyacht Awards
