Works description: Full fair works to a 29 metre (95 ft) new build sailing yacht. The full fair project includes priming, fairing and painting. All shaping is undertaken using a traditional long board technique to achieve a superior finish. The paint cycle is being completed using AWLGRIP products with metallic finish.
Background: Acamarine has been contracted to CNB, part of the Bénéteau group, since the late 1990’s. An Acamarine paint crew is permanently based in their yard on the banks of the Garonne River in Bordeaux working exclusively on CNB vessels. CNB construct prestigious yachts from 20 to 32 metres with an unfailing reputation for the quality of its construction and the finish of its boats. Acamarine has painted over 20 of these vessels which are constructed from either aluminum or composite carbon.
