Refit Location: Vollenhove, Holland
Team size: Mobile team of 35

Following a previous work successfully done on MY SKAT, a 71-metre Motor yacht in July 2009, ACAMARINE was solicited again in 2015 for a full sanded, reprimed and repainted in less than 5 month on the topsides and superstructures.

Captain’s letter of recommendation (copy above) : “ACA Marine was contracted for a full exterior re-painting of the 71m M.Y. SKAT to be be completed over five months during spring/summer 2009 at ITM shipyard in Marseille. From initial meeting to project completion there was regular, direct and honest communication with all levels of ACA. Their reasonable and open approach quickly built a high level of trust with owners representatives. ACA provided motivated and professional managers for daily oversight. They worked to a realistic and regularly updated schedule. Engaged planning and active collaboration contributed immensely to meeting the project completion date and budget. We were impressed with the prep teams care, work ethic and attention to details. The spray team achieved excellent finishes with a relatively new product and minimal re-shoots. The site was always clean and organized with all yacht specific considerations met or exceeded. The crew of SKAT thank ACA for the hard work doing a job exceptionally well. I enthusiastically recommend them as a skilled and nimble specialist yacht painting company that takes pride in their work. I’m pleased to offer further reference if required Sincerely Brad Kitchen Captain M.Y. SKAT”
